This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.
• Collaborate closely with other Network TPMs, DWDM engineers, ITDC teams, Network Procurement, and Construction departments to ensure seamless project execution.
• Work alongside the site selection team to assess connectivity feasibility. Lead the technical assessment of long-haul wave proposals and dark fiber alternatives to guide Datacenter and PoP selections.
• Serve as the technical authority for fiber pathway architecture from the "0 manhole" to the internal access panels. Supervise the design of manhole placements, conduit systems, and site entry points to ensure optimal route diversity.
• Partner with engineering teams on the configuration of Point of Entry (POE) and Meet-Me Rooms (MMR), ensuring they are adequately equipped for high-capacity, multi-carrier fiber and MOFN arrivals.
• Establish and nurture strategic relationships with regional/Continental ISPs, private dark fiber proprietors, and utility providers.
• Collaborate with Network Procurement on the RFx process for last-mile, middle-mile, and long-haul capacity. Spearhead negotiations for IRU agreements, long-term leases, and MOFN service frameworks.
• Coordinate with fiber owners to obtain necessary rack space, power, and environmental resources within ILA sites.
• Maintain internal databases of fiber/connectivity routes, including strict management of KMZ/KML files.
• Utilize AutoCAD to evaluate, modify, and create site infrastructure and conduit design plans, ensuring precise documentation of physical plant deployments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Over 5 years of experience in network infrastructure, OSP planning, or data center connectivity project management.
• AutoCAD: Proficient in creating and reviewing site infrastructure/conduit designs.
• GIS: Advanced proficiency in utilizing geospatial tools and KMZ/KML files.
• Optical Networking: Solid understanding of DWDM technology, ILA requirements, and the technical lifecycle of MOFN deployments.
• Commercial Acumen: Proven track record in negotiating complicated fiber leases, IRUs, and construction contracts.
• Relationship Management: Demonstrated capability to influence stakeholders and external vendors to meet demanding regional deployment timelines.
