• Lead efforts to enhance commercial performance across IONITY’s European charging network, focusing on revenue enhancement, cost efficiency, and asset utilization.
• Assess performance factors at both site and portfolio levels, converting insights into actionable optimization strategies.
• Serve as a liaison between Network Development and other IONITY departments, especially those involved in strategy, pricing, energy management, and marketing.
• Assist in the shift towards decentralized accountability for the financial performance of IONITY’s network by creating structures, reporting mechanisms, and fostering a sense of ownership and empowerment.
• Oversee and refine the installed capacity of chargers within IONITY’s network, ensuring a balance between customer satisfaction and financial performance indicators, with a strong reliance on data analytics.
• Cultivate a culture of performance accountability and disseminate insights throughout the organization to guide the optimal advancement of our future network.
• Create and sustain reporting frameworks and performance dashboards; assess and adopt third-party analytical tools as necessary.
• Aid in investment decision-making by supporting network alignment and business case assessments for new site candidates, including NPV, IRR, and sensitivity analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in network planning, strategy formulation, infrastructure optimization, or commercial performance management, particularly in e-mobility, energy, or infrastructure sectors.
• Demonstrated experience in commercial analysis and management, preferably within an infrastructure or energy context.
• Strong skills in data analysis, project management, and effective presentation.
• Proven capability to convert performance insights into actionable strategic initiatives.
• History of successful cross-functional collaboration and alignment with both technical and commercial teams, while securing buy-in from senior leadership.
• Knowledge of infrastructure investment and financial evaluation techniques, including business case modeling, NPV, and IRR.
• Demonstrable entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to challenge assumptions and a passion for fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Proficient in written and spoken English; proficiency in other European languages is an advantage.
