Network Engineer, Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.

📋 Description

• Developing test automation utilizing Python.

• Contributing to the functionalities of a Python-based testing framework.

• Designing and automating new environment configurations to enhance existing testbed capabilities.

• Collaborating with client architects to ensure your validation methods align with their expectations.

• Maintaining project documentation in Confluence.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced understanding of computer networking, including switching and routing at the Cisco CCNA level.

• Enhanced by practical expertise in advanced routing protocols (BGP, iBGP, eBGP), ECMP, link aggregation technologies, and tunneling solutions such as VXLAN, GRE, and VPNs.

• Experience in configuring network hardware (routers, switches, NICs, etc.).

• Proficient in Python programming and experienced with Python test frameworks (e.g., PyTest, PyATS).

• Practical application of AI-driven tools (e.g., LLMs, code assistants) to expedite test automation development, test design, code review, and troubleshooting tasks.

• Experience working with Linux and Git.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes.

• English proficiency at a minimum B2 level, preferably C1 or C2.
