This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Serve as the lead networking deployment engineer responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction during data center and customer migration activities into 11:11’s cloud ecosystem.
• Design and develop network topologies tailored for various customer settings, in accordance with 11:11’s cloud architecture standards and security best practices.
• Implement, configure, manage, and troubleshoot network setups, including switches, firewalls, load balancers, and IPSEC VPNs for customer implementations.
• Collaborate with project managers, Cloud Integration engineers, support teams, and account executives to strategize and execute successful customer deployments.
• Conduct thorough customer assessments to grasp networking needs and convert them into scalable, manageable designs within 11:11’s global infrastructure.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation in the company ticketing system and ensure the knowledge base is kept up-to-date.
• Establish and uphold standardized deployment processes and runbooks as technologies, tools, and permissions evolve.
• Support Cloud Integration engineers, support teams, and account executives with complex customer issues, including escalations requiring in-depth network troubleshooting.
• Pursue advanced certifications and keep up with the latest technologies in the Juniper/Fortigate/Palo Alto/Cisco/VMware product domains to continually enhance service delivery.
• Capable of automating processes and builds where feasible to minimize manual effort and boost operational efficiency in Service Operations.
• Available to work after hours and on weekends as necessary to assist with customer migrations, changes, and incident responses.
• Collaborate positively with colleagues, acting in alignment with 11:11's Code of Business Ethics and Company Values.
• Handle company data and information responsibly according to Company data handling agreements, work procedures, and policies.
• Adhere to company policies and guidelines, including data privacy practices, and complete annual compliance training and policy acknowledgments.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s or University degree in a relevant field, or equivalent years of pertinent work experience.
• Over 5 years of recent experience as a technical, hands-on Cisco network engineer in enterprise or service provider settings.
• Cisco CCNP/CCIE certification with documented work experience is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols and technologies, including BGP, IPsec, network segmentation, VRFs, switching, VLANs, and load balancers (required).
• Preferred experience with virtualization clusters (VMware) and software-defined networking, particularly VMware NSX.
• Familiarity with global data center and/or cloud environments is essential.
• Experience in deploying virtual and physical network appliances in cloud settings, ideally including Cisco, Fortigate, Palo Alto, Netscaler, Kemp, F5, SonicWall, and Juniper Networks.
• Professional experience in consulting or other technical support roles that involve direct customer interaction is preferred.
• Ability to automate network deployments and configurations (e.g., scripting, infrastructure-as-code tools) to enhance efficiency and consistency.
