Network Engineer

📋 Description

• Provide support, monitor, test, deploy, and resolve issues related to hardware and software for local area and wide area networks.

• Observe the performance of data network systems.

• Conduct troubleshooting on data networks to identify and diagnose performance challenges.

• Install and configure hardware components.

• Execute upgrades for hardware and software elements.

• Procure equipment, prepare installation specifications, and oversee the installation process for core and branch network infrastructure.

• Analyze test data and suggest hardware or software solutions.

• Test and assess equipment to evaluate efficiency, reliability, and compatibility with current systems.

• Set up network users, user environments, and security protocols for new network installations.

• Resolve issues related to branch cabling and equipment.

• Offer technical network support to users.

⛳️ Requirements

• Typically requires a BS/BA in a relevant discipline.

• Generally 2-5 years of experience in a related area OR an MS/MA with approximately 2-4 years of experience in a similar field.

• Certification is mandatory in specific areas.
