Network Delivery Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of the planning and execution of network build-outs (scope, schedule, budget, quality) at Waymo locations, including offices and data centers.

• Convert business and engineering requirements into Engineering Design Plans (EDPs), detailed project plans, key milestones, and a clear RACI framework involving network engineers, construction teams, low voltage cable specialists, and network integrators.

• Oversee vendor management and contract negotiations (RFPs, SOWs, SLAs), coordinate site activities, and monitor hardware and circuit orders to ensure timely delivery.

• Ensure adherence to compliance and standards (security, redundancy, capacity, engineering documentation) while keeping sources of truth current.

• Provide status updates and KPIs to leadership; facilitate cross-functional rituals, manage budgets and forecasts, and promote continuous improvement for scalable processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• Over 7 years of experience as a Network Technical Program Manager overseeing multi-site build-outs or data center launches.

• Proficient understanding of network architecture and design concepts.

• Strong focus on quality and compliance, with the ability to maintain 100% as-built documentation within 5 business days post go-live.

• Proven experience collaborating with network and internet service providers for circuit provisioning.

• Demonstrated experience working with low voltage cablers (LVCs) in construction settings.
