Network Cybersecurity Analyst – Network Security

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Manage configuration requests, incidents, planned activities, and issues pertaining to network security.

• Collect information from clients and internal teams, including the NOC and SOC.

• Create analytical reports or Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) and prepare technical evaluations.

• Review reports generated by fellow analysts, ensuring effective and formal communication.

• Maintain SLA adherence by responding to, documenting, and resolving requests.

• Assist teams in deploying new functionalities and suggest enhancements to processes and practices.

• Conduct regular security and asset health assessments.

• Develop and update the knowledge base while documenting completed tasks.

• Analyze and address security incidents, determining the optimal resolution approach.

• Contribute to enhancements in security and technical support processes in collaboration with Security and Infrastructure teams.

• Oversee and assist the Procurement team throughout the equipment licensing process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience in network security, encompassing operations, maintenance, and support.

• Proficiency in at least two of the following solutions: Firewalls, NAC, Wireless, Managed Switches, NDR, IPS, and WAF.

• Experience with vendors such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, Check Point, or Cisco is preferred.

• Relevant certifications are an advantage.

• Familiarity with SD-WAN and multi-link environments, including load balancing and failover mechanisms.

• Understanding of static routing along with BGP and OSPF protocols.

• Knowledge of VLANs, STP, LACP, QoS, and network segmentation.

• Experience with IPsec and SSL VPNs as well as secure remote access.

• Skilled in preparing security reports, documenting procedures (playbooks), and creating security checklists.

• Organized, resilient, and innovative mindset.

• Proficient in English for effective verbal and written communication with international partners and clients.
