This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and coordinate activities for assigned team members.
• Implement operational standards and best practices.
• Ensure adherence to escalation and resolution protocols.
• Manage the incident response process and lead ticket management analysis until resolution.
• Collaborate with various functions within the organization to facilitate outage resolutions.
• Provide mentorship and coaching to technicians across all levels.
• Conduct training sessions and develop educational resources for NCC personnel.
• Share updates regarding network performance and critical incidents.
• Organize workflows and prioritize tasks to maintain efficient NCC operations.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• An Associate’s degree in telecommunications, network operations, leadership, or technology is preferred.
• Five to seven (5-7) years of relevant experience, including 0-1 year in a leadership role.
• Familiarity with Telecommunications Support Platforms (Inventory, Alarm Management, Ticketing, and automation support platforms).
• ITIL certification and/or relevant experience is preferred.
• Capability to analyze fiber network drawings and identify areas of damage using Optical Time Domain Reflectometer traces.
• Knowledge of fiber and cable properties.
• Experience with fiber optic and cable installation and maintenance.
• Strong customer service skills, with the capacity to handle sensitive or high-impact customer situations with professionalism.
• Ability to communicate clearly in both verbal and written forms.
