This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Reporting to the Head of the Department of Family Practice in the Central Zone.
• Collaborating within a co-leadership framework alongside the Network Primary Health Care Manager.
• Offering leadership and support to the medical staff activities within the Network.
• Addressing inquiries from physicians in the network on various topics.
• Providing contextual insights on specific issues, individuals, communities, etc.
• Meeting with the respective Zone Department Head at least once a month.
• Engaging in a co-leadership capacity with the Network Primary Health Care Manager.
• Assisting the Zone Department Head with the recruitment and retention of family physicians in the Network.
• Regularly chairing meetings of the Network Family Practice Council.
• Maintaining connections with family physicians within the Network.
• All candidates must be eligible for full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS).
• All family physicians must qualify for certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC).
• Must hold membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA).
