Network Cloud Security Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and enhance secure network architectures within the AWS ecosystem, utilizing principles of segmentation, isolation, and least-privilege.

• Configure, manage, and improve Palo Alto Networks / VM-Series firewalls and Zscaler ZIA/ZPA platforms.

• Spearhead the SASE/Zero Trust initiatives.

• Develop and sustain automated network and security infrastructure employing Terraform and Security as Code methodologies.

• Identify, evaluate, and respond to network security threats and incidents in real-time.

• Ensure adherence to internal policies as well as the PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, and CIS Benchmarks frameworks.

• Mentor engineers and analysts while acting as the Security by Design subject-matter expert for technology teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant technical expertise in Network Security and Cloud Security within intricate, scalable environments.

• Advanced knowledge of the AWS-native networking and security ecosystem, including VPC, Security Groups, NACLs, Transit Gateway, Route 53, AWS WAF, Shield, GuardDuty, and CloudTrail.

• Extensive experience with the administration of Palo Alto Networks next-generation firewalls (VM-Series, Panorama).

• Strong technical proficiency in Zscaler SASE/Zero Trust solutions (Zscaler Internet Access—ZIA—and Zscaler Private Access—ZPA).

• Comprehensive understanding of networking principles, including dynamic routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), VPN topologies (IPsec, SSL), the TCP/IP and OSI models, and advanced packet analysis.

• Practical experience in creating and managing infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform.

• Preferred qualifications include practical knowledge of security in Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP), familiarity with CNAPP/CSPM, and current technical certifications such as AWS Certified Advanced Networking, AWS Certified Security—Specialty, PCNSE, ZCCS, CISSP, CCSP, or CEH.
