Netwerk Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Implement and manage advanced network environments;

• Configure and oversee routers, switches, wireless devices, firewalls, WAFs, and load balancers;

• Translate architectural designs into tangible technical implementations;

• Conduct patch, lifecycle, and security management;

• Monitor, analyze, and optimize network performance;

• Operate in accordance with ITIL processes and contribute to continuous improvement;

• Develop innovative network solutions for our clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• HBO work and thinking level;

• Excellent command of both Dutch and English;

• Hold relevant certifications such as Cisco CCNP, Aruba, Fortinet NSE4/NSE5, Microsoft AZ-700/AZ-900, Citrix Netscaler, F5, and ITIL Foundation, or be willing to obtain them;

• Knowledge of routing and switching concepts;

• Familiarity with VPN technologies, Zero Trust, NAC, and MFA integrations;

• Experience with firewalls, WAFs, and load balancers;

• Experience with wireless solutions from Fortinet, Aruba, and Ubiquiti;

• Experience with scripting and network automation;

• Ability to translate a basic network design (HLD) into a concrete configuration and Visio diagrams (LLD);

• Knowledge of VLAN, BGP, OSPF, MPLS/VPLS, GSLB, and policy-based routing;

• Strong communication skills, solution-oriented, independent, and customer-focused;

• Willingness to participate in on-call services and occasionally work outside of office hours.
