NetSuite Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain customizations in NetSuite, which includes SuiteScripts, SuiteFlows, SuiteBuilder, saved searches, custom records, and dashboards.

• Create and maintain SuiteScripts to streamline business processes, incorporating User Event, Scheduled, Map/Reduce, Client Scripts, Suitelets, and RESTlets.

• Develop and support integrations between NetSuite and both internal and third-party applications utilizing RESTlets, SuiteTalk, APIs, middleware, or iPaaS platforms.

• Diagnose production issues, determine root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.

• Enhance NetSuite configurations, scripts, and workflows to improve performance, usability, and scalability.

• Facilitate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end processes by ensuring system reliability and prompt issue resolution.

• Generate and maintain technical, process, and deployment documentation.

• Assist in release management, sandbox testing, change control, and post-deployment validation.

• Advise on best practices for NetSuite architecture, customization, security, and support.

• Keep updated on NetSuite platform capabilities and assess automation opportunities to enhance business processes.

• Collaborate with the eTech Engineering team and stakeholders from Finance, Accounting, Operations, and Revenue.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in developing and supporting NetSuite.

• Proficient experience with SuiteScript 2.0 and/or 2.x.

• Familiarity with SuiteFlow, SuiteBuilder, saved searches, custom forms, roles, records, and reports.

• Experience in building and supporting NetSuite integrations.

• Strong understanding of ERP business processes, particularly in finance and operations.

• Proficient in JavaScript, JSON, XML, CSV, and web services (REST and SOAP).

• Capability to troubleshoot intricate system and data issues spanning multiple business functions.

• Excellent communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and work autonomously in a fast-paced setting.

• Preferred certifications in NetSuite, such as NetSuite Administrator or SuiteCloud Developer.

• Experience with OneWorld, multi-subsidiary, or multi-entity environments is preferred.

• Knowledge of middleware or integration tools like MuleSoft or similar platforms and REST/SOAP APIs is preferred.

• Familiarity with SDF and managing releases from Sandbox to Production is preferred.

• Understanding of SQL, data mapping, and ETL concepts is preferred.

• Experience working with Finance Systems, ERP, or enterprise applications teams is preferred.

• Knowledge of ancillary systems such as Salesforce, Avalara, Kolleno, and Snowflake is preferred.
