.NET/Ruby on Rails Systems Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Participate in the development and enhancement of the .NET chassis/framework, focusing on building and refining its components, including persistence, messaging, observability, authentication, resilience, and testing.

• Execute the initial services transitioned to the chassis/framework, ensuring that its conventions are validated through practical application.

• Assist stream-flow teams during the migration process (Strangler Fig), acting as a technical resource on how to effectively utilize the chassis/framework.

• Actively engage in establishing standards, guidelines, and examples that promote quicker adoption across various teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Profound knowledge of Ruby — while it may not be your primary programming language, it should be one you excel in.

• Robust production experience in backend engineering, including relational databases, messaging systems, REST APIs, and automated testing.

• Capability to independently navigate legacy code — comprehend the implemented structures, identify dependencies, and suggest incremental extractions.

• Regular use of agentic AI programming tools (Claude Code, Cursor, or similar) as part of your daily workflow — not merely out of curiosity, but integrated into your development process.

• Familiarity with modern .NET — preferably someone with a Ruby background who is currently engaged in .NET development.

• Experience with a structured microservices framework or chassis (such as Spring Boot, .NET, etc.) as a guiding reference.

• Knowledge of PCI DSS and/or working in regulated environments (BACEN, Open Finance).

• Understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP) as well as container and Kubernetes practices.
