This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Take full responsibility for the design, development, and delivery of application modules while ensuring compliance with architectural guidelines and coding standards.

• Assess business and technical requirements and convert them into scalable, maintainable, and high-performance software solutions.

• Create, develop, and utilize RESTful APIs while integrating applications with enterprise systems and databases.

• Build, deploy, and maintain applications on AWS Cloud, utilizing services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda, CloudWatch, and API Gateway as needed.

• Leverage GitHub Copilot or similar AI-driven development tools to enhance coding efficiency, generate unit tests, aid in debugging, refactoring, and documentation, while ensuring adherence to secure coding practices.

• Conduct code reviews, promote development best practices, and guide junior developers to enhance code quality and technical skills.

• Design, develop, and implement unit, integration, system, regression, and automated test cases to guarantee comprehensive test coverage and software quality.

• Work closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Architects, QA, DevOps, and customer stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Deliver Level 3 (L3) application support, which includes managing production incidents, conducting root cause analysis (RCA), performance tuning, implementing hotfixes, managing problems, and performing post-production validation within agreed service level agreements (SLAs).

• Facilitate the prompt resolution of production issues by collaborating with L1/L2 support teams and executing preventive strategies to minimize recurring incidents.

• Engage in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and actively participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, estimation, technical design discussions, and initiatives for continuous improvement.

• Assist with CI/CD pipelines, release management, deployment activities, and adhere to DevOps best practices using GitHub, Azure DevOps, or AWS CodePipeline/CodeBuild.

• Contribute to test automation efforts utilizing Selenium, Rest Assured, Postman, or similar frameworks, while continuously enhancing automation coverage.

• Ensure adherence to secure coding practices, quality standards, proactively identify technical risks, recommend modernization and performance enhancements, and take part in technical discussions and engineering excellence.

• Exhibit strong analytical, debugging, troubleshooting, stakeholder management, and communication abilities.

• Over 6 years of experience in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining enterprise applications using: ASP.NET

• .NET Core / .NET Framework

• SQL Server

• Azure

• Proficiency in RESTful APIs and system integrations.

• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot.

• Background in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Capability to mentor junior developers and perform code reviews.

• Strong analytical, debugging, troubleshooting, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
