This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain robust C#.NET solutions, encompassing Windows Services, WPF and WinForms clients, console applications, and inter-process communication via Named Pipes.

• Construct server-side components utilizing ASP.NET Web API and Web Forms that connect with Active Directory, Azure, Intune, SQL Server, and SCCM/MECM.

• Upgrade legacy VBScript and classic scripts into maintainable C#.NET services and libraries.

• Implement REST and RPC APIs, including ITSM integrations (OAuth, incident creation, attachments) and Microsoft Graph API-based compliance and inventory feeds.

• Package, sign, and release MSI installers, managing the end-to-end deployment process through UAT, endpoint management, and production rollout.

• Automate file distribution and multi-server synchronization workflows that support downstream endpoint management processes.

• Oversee build and release automation using CI/CD pipelines, featuring PR validation, quality gates, automated testing, and staged deployments.

• Utilize AI coding assistants judiciously to expedite development, ensuring thorough review, testing, and complete ownership of every line delivered.

• Assume end-to-end responsibility for assigned modules: plan, merge cleanly from the mainline, conduct thorough testing prior to handoff, and provide clear validation evidence.

• Generate design documents, test evidence, and release notes; adhere to disciplined branching, PR, and versioning practices.

• Offer L3 engineering support for the tools you manage, driving root-cause analysis proactively.

• Engage in all phases of the SDLC following Agile methodologies and manage multiple priorities effectively.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of practical C#.NET development experience, with a proven ability to deliver production-quality solutions with minimal supervision.

• Strong background in SQL Server (or MySQL), Azure, and PowerShell.

• Familiarity with JavaScript, Python, or other scripting languages.

• Experience in developing web applications and utilizing patterns such as MVC.

• Experience with ITSM platforms like ServiceNow.

• Solid understanding of OOP principles and common design patterns.

• Hands-on experience in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (YAML-based), covering build, test, artifact management, and release processes.

• Practical application of AI coding assistants to enhance productivity, with the discernment to accept, refine, or reject AI-generated code while ensuring ownership of its accuracy.

• Awareness of responsible AI usage, including data classification and prompt hygiene when utilizing third-party AI tools.

• Demonstrated ability to conduct rigorous testing, capture evidence, and clearly communicate status to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Maturity to pose clarifying questions early, provide constructive feedback, and avoid rework from hasty or unmerged changes.

• Nice to have: Familiarity with SCCM/MECM, Intune, and Active Directory, including the ability to read object attributes for client-side logic.

• Basic knowledge of Linux environments.

• Exposure to creating small AI agents or low-code AI workflows, and familiarity with RAG concepts or incorporating LLM calls into .NET applications.
