.Net Backend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain backend services utilizing .NET / C#.

• Construct REST APIs and backend endpoints in accordance with best practices.

• Design and implement database solutions with SQL Server / PostgreSQL / MySQL.

• Compose efficient queries, optimize performance, and ensure data integrity.

• Integrate backend services with external systems through APIs and webhooks.

• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms (e.g., JWT, OAuth2) along with security best practices.

• Create and manage background jobs and queues using technologies such as Hangfire, Quartz, Azure Functions, or Service Bus (as applicable).

• Develop and maintain microservices or a modular monolith architecture based on project requirements.

• Work with caching solutions (e.g., Redis) when necessary.

• Conduct code reviews, debugging, and ensure the delivery of high-quality code and documentation.

• Utilize Git workflows and adhere to agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Provide support for production deployments and address issues promptly.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–6 years of professional experience in .NET backend development.

• Proficient experience in C#, ASP.NET Core, and Web APIs.

• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and clean coding practices.

• Strong database expertise with the capability to write optimized SQL queries.

• Familiarity with authentication and authorization concepts (JWT/OAuth2).

• Strong grasp of asynchronous programming and performance considerations.

• Practical experience with at least one of the following:

• Entity Framework or Dapper.

• Web API or RESTful services.

• Basic knowledge of system design and scalability principles.

• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
