
NEPA Specialist – Transportation/FRA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee evaluations of natural resources and manage permitting initiatives
• Formulate strategies for extensive and intricate projects
• Organize fieldwork activities and prepare reports
• Conduct report writing
• Offer technical support and guidance to team members
• Actively engage with clients, stakeholders, and contractors
• Oversee budgets, invoicing, and timelines to ensure effective project execution
• Bachelor's degree in planning, biology, ecology, soils, environmental science, environmental policy, natural resource management, or a related field
• At least 6 years of experience in environmental permitting and regulatory compliance
• Familiarity with NEPA compliance as per FRA guidelines is essential
• Skilled in interpreting site plans, topographic maps, aerial photographs, and other mapping tools
• Proven ability to work autonomously, lead a team, and manage projects with a client-oriented approach
• Strong business sense, a solid work ethic, and excellent problem-solving skills
• Outstanding communication skills in both written and verbal formats
• Capable of collaborating effectively within a team environment
