NCDR CathPCI Registry Abstractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Reviews medical records of patients and abstracts information for the NCDR CathPCI Registry.

• Accurately and consistently applies registry specifications, definitions, inclusion and exclusion criteria, and abstraction guidelines.

• Interprets clinical documentation concerning cardiac catheterization, PCI procedures, diagnoses, treatments, outcomes, complications, and associated quality measures.

• Inputs precise and comprehensive data into designated registry platforms, EHRs, vendor tools, or other data collection systems.

• Maintains a high standard of abstraction accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail.

• Meets designated productivity expectations, weekly progress targets, and internal and client deadlines.

• Engages in quality assurance activities, including feedback, correction, validation, and IRR reviews.

• Communicates professionally with account leads, team members, and client contacts when clarification is required.

• Upholds strict confidentiality and adheres to ADN, client, HIPAA, and data security protocols.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience with NCDR CathPCI Registry abstraction.

• Capability to independently abstract CathPCI cases utilizing registry specifications and clinical documentation.

• Strong knowledge of healthcare quality reporting, registry abstraction, clinical documentation evaluation, and medical record interpretation.

• Ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight while ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines.

• Excellent attention to detail, organization, documentation, and follow-through skills.

• Proficiency in navigating various EHRs, registry platforms, vendor tools, and data collection systems as assigned.

• Outstanding interpersonal and written communication abilities.

• Contractors must possess high-speed secure internet, a PC or laptop, and at least two monitors.

• Experience with the NCDR application, NCDR reports, and/or other relevant data collection tools is preferred.
