This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Reviews medical records of patients and abstracts information for the NCDR CathPCI Registry.
β’ Accurately and consistently applies registry specifications, definitions, inclusion and exclusion criteria, and abstraction guidelines.
β’ Interprets clinical documentation concerning cardiac catheterization, PCI procedures, diagnoses, treatments, outcomes, complications, and associated quality measures.
β’ Inputs precise and comprehensive data into designated registry platforms, EHRs, vendor tools, or other data collection systems.
β’ Maintains a high standard of abstraction accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail.
β’ Meets designated productivity expectations, weekly progress targets, and internal and client deadlines.
β’ Engages in quality assurance activities, including feedback, correction, validation, and IRR reviews.
β’ Communicates professionally with account leads, team members, and client contacts when clarification is required.
β’ Upholds strict confidentiality and adheres to ADN, client, HIPAA, and data security protocols.
β’ Minimum of 2 years of recent experience with NCDR CathPCI Registry abstraction.
β’ Capability to independently abstract CathPCI cases utilizing registry specifications and clinical documentation.
β’ Strong knowledge of healthcare quality reporting, registry abstraction, clinical documentation evaluation, and medical record interpretation.
β’ Ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight while ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines.
β’ Excellent attention to detail, organization, documentation, and follow-through skills.
β’ Proficiency in navigating various EHRs, registry platforms, vendor tools, and data collection systems as assigned.
β’ Outstanding interpersonal and written communication abilities.
β’ Contractors must possess high-speed secure internet, a PC or laptop, and at least two monitors.
β’ Experience with the NCDR application, NCDR reports, and/or other relevant data collection tools is preferred.
