This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Evaluates patient medical records and extracts data for the NCDR Afib Registry.
• Accurately and consistently applies registry specifications, definitions, inclusion and exclusion criteria, and abstraction guidelines.
• Analyzes clinical documentation pertaining to cardiology procedures, diagnoses, treatments, outcomes, complications, and associated quality measures.
• Inputs precise and complete data into designated registry platforms, EHRs, vendor tools, or other data collection systems.
• Upholds a high standard of abstraction accuracy, completeness, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Achieves assigned productivity goals, weekly progress targets, and adheres to both internal and client deadlines.
• Engages in quality assurance activities, including feedback, corrections, validation, and IRR reviews.
• Maintains professional communication with account leads, team members, and client contacts when clarification is required.
• Ensures strict confidentiality and adheres to ADN, client, HIPAA, and data security regulations.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in NCDR Afib Registry abstraction.
• Capability to independently abstract Afib cases utilizing registry specifications and clinical documentation.
• Strong comprehension of healthcare quality reporting, registry abstraction, clinical documentation review, and medical record interpretation.
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, documentation, and follow-through skills.
• Proficient in using multiple EHRs, registry platforms, vendor tools, and data collection systems as assigned.
• Outstanding interpersonal and written communication abilities.
• Contractors must possess high-speed secure internet, a PC or laptop, and at least two monitors.
