
National Title Examination Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct thorough examinations of title to real estate, varying in complexity, to assess status and establish the chain of title.
• Review title search reports and associated documentation promptly and meticulously.
• Ensure that the information in the title search and accompanying documents is both accurate and complete.
• Address any issues, including missing information, or discrepancies such as incomplete, inaccurate, or conflicting information in the title documentation.
• Abstract and evaluate deeds, deeds of trust/mortgages, easements, judgments, tax assessments, mineral reservations, and other relevant instruments.
• Confirm ownership and encumbrances pertaining to real property.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
• High School Diploma or equivalent experience in the workplace.
• Two (2) to five (5) years of experience within the title services sector.
• Familiarity with multi-state title insurance regulations.
• Basic understanding of real estate title concepts.
• Knowledge of legal documents and their implications on title to real property.
• Acquaintance with title insurance commitments and policy formats, along with all necessary procedures for preparation, including abstracting, title examinations, survey analysis, etc.
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Proficiency in basic mathematical calculations and tasks that require attention to detail, concentration, and accuracy.
• Capacity to work in a precise, detail-oriented, and highly efficient manner.
• Professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Suite – Word, Excel, etc.
• Ability to apply common sense in executing job responsibilities.
• Skill in organizing thoughts and ideas into clear and understandable language.
• Ability to comprehend and adhere to basic instructions and guidelines.
• Competence in completing routine forms, utilizing existing form letters, and/or engaging in standard oral communication.
• Capability to draft letters, outlines, memoranda, and basic reports, as well as to convey technical information orally.
• Ability to communicate effectively with individuals over the telephone; requires the ability to hear and speak clearly.
• Ability to articulate or exchange ideas verbally, communicating accurately and audibly with others in a timely manner.
