This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Accountable for sourcing, onboarding, and ensuring strategic alignment of national provider network accounts in line with organizational network and service delivery objectives.
• Act as the primary relationship manager for assigned national accounts, facilitating structured business rhythm meetings and maintaining proactive communication to guarantee performance, issue resolution, and alignment with organizational objectives.
• Negotiate provider contract terms and reimbursement rates to secure financially responsible, sustainable, and mutually advantageous agreements.
• Document essential discussions, action items, and follow-ups, ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping within designated systems.
• Collaborate with analytics and operations teams to evaluate volume trends, capacity requirements, performance metrics, and opportunities for network optimization.
• Propel account growth by expanding provider locations, onboarding additional providers, introducing new service lines, and identifying new national account opportunities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, and operational leadership to finalize contract terms, assess rate strategy, ensure margin alignment, and support special service arrangements when necessary.
• Maintain precise provider rosters, contract documentation, and account records; manage workflow items to resolution in accordance with established service standards.
• Work with scheduling and operations teams to enhance service delivery workflows and address operational barriers.
• Partner with Credentialing to gather, review, and submit credentialing documentation for provider onboarding, ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Engage in internal meetings and enterprise initiatives to further continuous improvement and network performance objectives.
• Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Business, Science, or a related health field, or equivalent experience/combined education required; master's degree preferred.
• 7 years of professional experience in provider network management, contracting, national account management, or healthcare operations.
• Required experience in negotiating provider contracts and managing rate structures.
• Preferred experience in federal healthcare programs or occupational health services.
• Strong skills in provider network contracting and negotiation.
• Proven capability to manage key national accounts and drive measurable business outcomes.
• Demonstrated financial acumen and understanding of rate discipline.
• Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
• Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and follow-up.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize competing demands effectively.
• Ability to autonomously set and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in CRM/PRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Proven cross-functional collaboration skills in a matrixed organization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel 15% or more may be required.
