This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Achieve Market Leadership: Leverage over 7 years of expertise to identify and secure substantial reefer and produce accounts across Central and Northern California.
• Specialized Commodity Oversight: Foster growth within our primary refrigerated and dry commodity sectors, including strawberries, pistachios, broccoli, dried fruits, and nuts.
• High-Value Sector Expansion: Broaden our portfolio to include temperature-sensitive specialty products such as wine, cherries, beer, chocolate, meats, and cut flowers.
• Geographic Territory Development: Strategically oversee and enhance shipments across a vast area, from Ukiah to Needles, CA, positioning ALC as the preferred choice for California shippers.
• Innovation-Driven Sales: Incorporate innovative strategies akin to Silicon Valley into your sales methods, employing modern technology and data to enhance customer profitability.
• Cooperative Leadership: Collaborate closely with our San Mateo team to drive branch success and establish long-term, multi-million-dollar alliances.
• 7+ Years of Demonstrated Success in Logistics Sales: Proven track record of surpassing objectives in B2B or enterprise sales.
• Transferable Client Network: A robust existing network predominantly focused on FTL Reefer and Produce.
• Regional Knowledge: Profound understanding of the Central California produce sector and the specific needs of temperature-controlled freight.
• Communication & Negotiation Skills: Outstanding abilities in managing the pressures of seasonal produce surges.
