National Program Manager, Code Club

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Create and execute strategies aimed at expanding the network of Code Clubs across India, ensuring the sustainability of current clubs and the successful establishment of new ones.

• Discover, cultivate, and oversee strategic partnerships to enhance the outreach and effectiveness of Code Clubs.

• Enhance the quality of the learning experience within Code Clubs in India, including the design and organization of top-tier mentor training programs.

• Formulate and implement strategies for recruiting and supporting volunteer mentors, collaborating with industry stakeholders and other partners.

• Ensure that Code Clubs primarily benefit young individuals facing educational disadvantages and those from backgrounds that are typically underrepresented in the technology sector.

• Oversee the execution of Coolest Projects online and in-person showcases across India.

• Utilize monitoring and evaluation plans along with data insights to confirm that outcomes for young people and mentors are achieved, while identifying areas that require improvement.

• Guarantee that all Code Clubs and partners are aware of and adhere to our safeguarding policies and practices.

• Build and lead a high-performing team, providing the necessary clarity, support, and resources for them to excel in their work.

• Collaborate with fundraising advisors to create and present proposals and pitches, while also developing and maintaining relationships with funding partners.

• Manage budgets effectively.

• Represent the Raspberry Pi Foundation to external audiences, which includes writing blog posts and magazine articles, attending outreach events, and facilitating workshops as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in leading and scaling large educational or volunteer-driven programs in India.

• Proven success in establishing and managing strategic partnerships with educational institutions, nonprofits, and industry to propel program growth and impact.

• Experience in designing and delivering high-quality training and non-formal learning experiences.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a STEM field (preferable).

• Comprehensive understanding of the Indian education system, with experience working alongside schools, teachers, and youth-serving community organizations.

• Experience in team management, with a collaborative and supportive leadership style and the ability to effectively plan and allocate resources across multiple projects and priorities.

• Strong data and analytical capabilities, with the ability to leverage data to enhance our initiatives. Familiarity with Salesforce is advantageous, but training can be provided if needed.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to inspire and engage diverse audiences.

• Flexibility, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset when working with colleagues and external partners.

• A strong alignment with the Foundation’s mission and values, particularly regarding educational equity and access.

• Willingness to travel extensively within India.
