This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Serve as a subject matter expert on the health outcomes and economic implications of the VIASKIN Peanut Patch, as well as the overall peanut allergy treatment landscape.

• Interact with national and regional payers, pharmacy benefit managers, integrated delivery networks, employers, and key opinion leaders in population health to deliver scientific, clinical, and economic insights about VIASKIN Peanut.

• Articulate the value proposition of epicutaneous immunotherapy, highlighting its efficacy, safety, patch wear-time, and real-world significance to aid in informed coverage and formulary decisions.

• Organize educational programs, scientific presentations, and value-evidence discussions to improve comprehension of product outcomes data among payer and population health audiences.

• Build and sustain robust relationships with essential external stakeholders, such as medical and pharmacy directors, payer decision-makers, professional societies, and patient advocacy groups within the food allergy community.

• Share health outcomes data, real-world evidence, health economic models, and budget-impact analyses to facilitate informed decision-making by payers and population health clients.

• Work in tandem with internal cross-functional teams—including Market Access, Medical Affairs, Value & Access, Commercial, and Field Reimbursement—to synchronize evidence strategies and ensure coherent, precise messaging prior to and during the launch.

• Provide training to internal teams regarding outcomes data and value evidence, ensuring a uniform and accurate understanding across the organization.

• Address unsolicited inquiries from payers and population health decision-makers about product details, clinical data, and outcomes research, adhering to applicable regulations and company policies.

• Assist in investigator-initiated studies, real-world evidence generation, and other research initiatives that enhance understanding of health outcomes in pediatric peanut allergy.

• Contribute to the formulation of strategic plans for health outcomes research, value-evidence communication, and payer engagement to support the launch of VIASKIN Peanut.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to weave health outcomes strategies into broader product launch, access, and commercialization plans.

• Ensure all communications and interactions are in compliance with regulatory requirements, legal guidelines, and company policies.


⛳️ Requirements

• PharmD, M.D., or Ph.D. in a health sciences-related field is required; a Master’s in pharmacoepidemiology, epidemiology, or health economics is preferred.

• A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare industry, including at least five (5) years in a HEOR or payer-facing scientific role supporting product launches with U.S. Market Access teams.

• Experience across medical and scientific affairs, outcomes research, clinical practice, academic, or U.S. managed-markets settings.

• Preferred therapeutic experience in allergy/immunology, pediatrics, and/or rare diseases; familiarity with the food allergy treatment landscape is a significant advantage.

• Strong comprehension of health outcomes research, epidemiology, and health economics.

• Proven experience engaging national and regional payers, PBMs, IDNs, and other organized customers in a scientific or value-evidence capacity.

• Solid background and thorough understanding of health economics, outcomes research methodologies, and evidence-generation techniques. Demonstrated expertise in economic modeling, budget-impact analysis, data analysis, and interpreting clinical and real-world data to derive meaningful insights.

• Stay informed about the latest industry trends, healthcare policies, and regulations that influence health economics and outcomes research, particularly those related to pediatric and food allergy markets.

• Maintain a deep understanding of the therapeutic areas relevant to the organization, including disease mechanisms, treatment options, and significant market dynamics.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Strong proficiency with relevant regulatory guidelines and requirements pertaining to HEOR studies and payer scientific exchange.

• Understanding of compliance and ethical considerations in conducting research and engaging with payer decision-makers.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex HEOR concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Ability to engage and develop strong relationships with external stakeholders, including thought leaders and academic experts in the field of HEOR.
