National Director – Site Investigation/Remediation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement the national SC‑REM strategy, in alignment with Terracon’s Environmental Service Line and the 2030 Strategic Plan.

• Drive growth that is profitable, managing P&L performance, pricing strategies, forecasting, and essential performance metrics.

• Lead and assist practice leaders across the nation, ensuring delivery that is consistent, safe, and of high quality.

• Foster innovation by incorporating modern investigation techniques, data management systems, digital tools, and remediation technologies.

• Act as a trusted executive leader and subject matter expert on complex, high-risk projects.

• Cultivate and enhance talent, focusing on succession planning, leadership development, and professional career trajectories.

• Strengthen client relationships and enhance market presence by collaborating across various sectors and accounts.

• Represent Terracon as a thought leader through participation in conferences, publications, and industry engagement.

⛳️ Requirements

• A strong commitment to a safety-first approach.

• A Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, geoscience, or a related discipline (Master’s or PhD is preferred).

• Over 20 years of experience in leading multi-regional or national environmental practices.

• Professional Engineer (PE), Professional Geologist (PG), or equivalent professional registration, with multi-state licensure capability.

• Demonstrated success in strategic growth, P&L leadership, and client development.

• Outstanding leadership, communication, and change management abilities.

• Preferred: experience with digital transformation, innovation implementation, sustainability integration, and recognized thought leadership in SC‑REM.
