• Independently source 100% of opportunities — with no inbound leads, referrals, or designated accounts.
• Establish a pipeline from the ground up utilizing bank-provided prospecting tools, cold calling, development of Centers of Influence (COI), and ongoing community engagement.
• Implement a field-based sales strategy, dedicating at least three days each week to in-person meetings with prospects.
• Focus on middle-market and upper-middle-market firms with an annual card expenditure exceeding $1MM.
• Initiate and steer discussions with C-suite executives and senior finance leaders to comprehend spending strategies, controls, and business objectives.
• Perform comprehensive spend and expense analyses to uncover inefficiencies and formulate executive-level recommendations.
• Position and provide guidance on the most effective card programs, confidently communicating value, ROI, and governance considerations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless and consistent client experience from the sale through to implementation.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Seven to nine years or more of relevant professional experience.
• Willingness to travel (locally and regionally, with some national travel required).
