This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +15 more states.
• Establish relationships and formulate strategies to enhance sales and profitability for designated national accounts while making purchasing decisions.
• Propel sales by devising, implementing, and conveying business plans aimed at increasing revenue for the organization.
• Cultivate and sustain business relationships.
• Strategically schedule customer visits to foster relationships, deliver presentations, propose innovative programs, and communicate plans effectively.
• Investigate, develop, and secure account opportunities.
• Clearly articulate competitive advantages and devise strategies to capture competitive business.
• Formulate and implement profitable business plans for managing both existing and newly acquired accounts effectively.
• Negotiate national contracts and rebate programs in alignment with industry management objectives.
• Collaborate with sales personnel and other essential corporate staff to communicate account strategies, pricing, and provide support to boost sales.
• Engage in local and national trade associations and conferences.
• Identify key obstacles/core challenges and apply problem-solving skills to creatively address complex situations.
• Diagnose and resolve intricate issues.
• Make decisions in uncertain conditions, sometimes with incomplete information, that yield effective outcomes.
• Independently carry out assignments with guidance limited to expected results.
• Determine and devise approaches to solutions.
• The candidate must be based in the Western region and be willing to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Experience in prospecting and onboarding customers while identifying growth opportunities with current accounts.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
• A genuine passion for engaging with people, customers, and team members.
• Demonstrated success in outside sales.
• Proficient in effectively showcasing products and services.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Experience with Salesforce CRM.
