This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +3 more states.
• Oversee 450–550 national account projects each year, managing the process from order intake all the way through to final installation and project closeout.
• Analyze and interpret architectural drawings and specifications to determine necessary products and ensure adherence to project standards.
• Input and manage orders in D365 (Dynamics 365), including releasing orders to the factory and procuring Class 2 parts for distributor orders.
• Collaborate with the Credit team to resolve credit holds and guarantee timely processing of orders.
• Act as the main point of contact for customers, providing project status updates, collecting installation dates, and addressing inquiries.
• Work closely with internal branch offices to ensure smooth project execution by delivering comprehensive project files, thorough documentation, and clear installation directives.
• Maintain a centralized tracker to monitor each project's status; keep project information (order status, ship dates, install dates, issues, next steps) accurate and up-to-date.
• Actively monitor projects to ensure timely shipment and installation; if delays occur, gather necessary information and implement corrective actions to realign the project timeline.
• Partner with the Contracts team to secure signed agreements and liaise with Billing to ensure invoicing is accurate and timely.
• Address issues quickly and effectively using Microsoft Teams and phone calls (preferred) instead of solely relying on email.
• Engage cross-functionally with Factory, Operations, Distribution, and Service teams to resolve delays or quality concerns.
• Provide regular updates to account leadership regarding project health, risks, and recovery plans.
• Keep thorough documentation and audit trails for project decisions, modifications, and approvals.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying process inefficiencies and offering suggestions to enhance efficiency and on-time performance.
• Travel: less than 10%, with a preference for candidates located in Eastern or Central Standard Time.
• 2-3+ years of experience in project management or account management within manufacturing, distribution, or construction-related sectors; familiarity with Auto doors/access controls or related products is highly advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) or similar ERP systems.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and Excel.
• Proven ability to manage a significant volume of projects (400+ annually).
• Exceptional customer-facing skills with the capability to build credibility and trust with national accounts.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Demonstrated effectiveness in escalating issues and facilitating cross-functional resolutions.
