This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota, +3 more states.
• Independently oversee a large and intricate wholesale customer portfolio while effectively balancing various go-to-market strategies through strong prioritization and planning.
• Create and implement customer plans that enhance distribution, shelf placement, merchandising, and promotion of Bumble Bee products.
• Ensure a robust in-market presence by conducting regular customer meetings, leading brokers, and visiting stores.
• Lead the way in forecasting excellence by managing volume planning, promotional strategies, post-promotion analysis, and customer insights to facilitate accurate inventory deployment across the supply chain and relevant trade systems.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with order processing, deductions management, category management, supply chain, and marketing to achieve exceptional customer results.
• Proactively manage deductions for assigned customers and drive timely resolutions.
• Cultivate in-depth knowledge of the shelf-stable seafood and meat categories through ongoing education.
• Uphold the highest ethical and professional standards in all internal and external business interactions, including effective time management, communication, and meeting preparation.
• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, ideally in Business or Marketing.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in CPG sales or category management, preferably with direct responsibility for wholesale customers.
• Demonstrated history of ownership, including proactive planning, follow-through, and execution.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to analyze syndicated data and apply insights effectively during sales presentations.
• Familiarity with trade fund management systems and internal sales and shipment reporting tools; experience with CAS (TPM), Cognos, and SAP is preferred but not mandatory.
