This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Formulate long-term strategies to enhance business growth within manufacturing accounts (F&B, Metal, Steel, Glass).
• Create detailed Account plans featuring measurable metrics and KPIs.
• Establish and oversee targets for the national sales team.
• Cultivate a trustworthy and professional rapport with clients.
• Conduct meetings with clients and account managers.
• Ensure that all accounts receive proper attention and maintenance.
• Supervise and manage regional sales personnel within your department.
• Address complaints and inquiries on behalf of clients.
• Advocate for new services and products to clients in your department.
• Provide reports to senior management regarding the status of your accounts.
• Take a leading role in presentations and proposals for national accounts.
• Monitor and analyze market trends, competitive advantages, and related factors.
• A bachelor's degree in engineering or business is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in a regional or national account manager role selling electrical or engineering-related services/PLC to the F&B industry, or consideration will be given to experience as a technical project or program manager in the F&B sector with a strong understanding of electrical or power distribution.
• A sales background with a proven track record of sales success.
• A robust strategic mindset.
• Capability to engage with all organizational levels, from engineering to the CEO.
• A strong understanding of sales metrics, performance measures, and technical indicators.
• A keen aptitude for analysis and strategic planning.
• Decisive thinking and leadership skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal and client relationship skills.
• Proficient negotiation, conflict resolution, and presentation abilities.
