This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Collaborate with national accounts of various sizes to comprehend and fulfill their business goals while enhancing revenue and profitability for the organization.
• Work alongside key client representatives to ensure that projects are allocated the necessary resources to drive future account expansion.
• Engage closely with Operations Managers, the National Director, Department Managers, Program/Project Managers, and other internal staff to ensure client requirements are satisfied and quality surpasses expectations.
• Build strong working relationships with essential personnel at all levels to foster the growth and sustainability of client accounts.
• Lead the identification, pursuit, and generation of new leads with both existing and prospective clients; discover new growth avenues and assist in strategizing and executing account plans.
• Create and propose a strategic plan to pinpoint key business opportunities at new client accounts through market research and pipeline analysis.
• Act as the primary point of contact for the client where appropriate; manage and spearhead cross-selling, proposal development, and contract negotiations across various service lines.
• Execute long-term business and marketing strategies.
• Integrate chargeable time into national account pricing models for account management and review.
• Oversee project-related risks; ensure contracts are signed and fully executed before initiating work. Monitor compliance with corporate risk policies and practices, holding managers accountable for risk mitigation.
• Communicate safety initiatives, rules, and guidelines; ensure managers and employees are held accountable for adhering to safety standards.
• Advocate for ongoing quality monitoring and improvement. Ensure best practices are implemented and hold managers accountable for quality control benchmarks.
• Be aware of potential project risks and methods to safeguard the Company; promote pre-task planning and support team safety initiatives.
• Execute additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Bachelor's degree in business, civil engineering, earth sciences, construction management, or a related field, along with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience. Alternatively, a minimum of 12 years of related experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
• Proven experience in client relations and account management within the national A/E/C industry.
• Background in marketing professional services and managing accounts in Terracon’s strategic business sectors.
• A valid driver's license with an acceptable violation history may be necessary.
• Professional designations such as PE, PG, CPSM, LEED AP, or others are preferred.
• Preferred: Terracon Authorized Project Reviewer.
