This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Align the company's strategy with the direction and objectives of retail accounts.
• Establish new connections and nurture existing relationships with all levels of retail customers.
• Oversee the current product listings, identify opportunities for new business, and manage new product launches.
• Formulate strategies for the profitable growth of both customers and categories.
• Create monthly sales and demand forecasts.
• Collaborate across various functions within the organization.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitive activities, and changes within accounts.
• Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with key national accounts.
• Understand the distinct needs and goals of each account.
• Achieve or surpass sales targets and revenue objectives for national accounts.
• Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional products/services.
• Work with cross-functional teams to devise strategic account plans.
• Develop and implement strategies to meet long-term business goals.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with national accounts.
• Address any issues or conflicts that may arise throughout the relationship.
• Clearly convey the value proposition of products/services to national accounts.
• Provide regular updates and reports to internal stakeholders and national accounts.
• Identify and resolve challenges or obstacles that may affect account success.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor actions, and market conditions.
• Offer insights and recommendations based on market analysis.
• Trained in strategic negotiation techniques.
• Experience translating data into actionable insights.
• A strong curiosity for retail and its ever-evolving marketplace.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to proactively and creatively solve problems.
• Proficient in analytical and strategic thinking.
• Capacity to collaborate effectively across functions.
• Results-oriented with a commitment to achieving sales objectives.
• Familiarity with industry and market dynamics pertinent to the company's products/services.
• Strong leadership abilities.
• Proficient presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Strong skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
