• Offer prominent leadership and facilitate the sales management process to enhance revenues and profits for the Company.
• Create and execute strategies and initiatives aimed at achieving the Company's sales, gross profit, and related service goals.
• Provide functional guidance and engage personally as necessary to assist direct sales and customer service teams in planning, market penetration, and overcoming barriers in high-potential locations.
• Enhance and/or sustain profitable growth with existing National Accounts.
• Develop and negotiate new agreements that establish Grainger as the primary or exclusive MRO provider.
• Assess, negotiate, and manage the creation, maintenance, or termination of customer agreements through the contract management process.
• Create and ensure the execution of value-added programs and key metrics that align with the customer's business objectives and our core value proposition.
• Mentor Field Sales Team members on the strategic and tactical execution of customer-specific market plans while offering feedback for their professional growth.
• Lead Change Management initiatives throughout the customer's organization.
• Establish and sustain a robust relationship and communication strategy with field and support management.
• Anticipate travel requirements of 50% or more.
• Completion of post-secondary education.
• A proven track record of over 3 years in Sales Performance, effectively selling a structured value proposition.
• Demonstrated expertise and competency in the following areas: Driving Profitable Growth.
• Effectively closing sales through logical steps.
• Developing knowledge of Grainger Solutions.
• Maximizing contract value through ownership of execution.
• Inspiring accountability and teamwork.
• Prioritizing tasks through logical analysis.
• Negotiating win-win solutions.
• Providing structured development of account strategies.
• Achieving expansion through account penetration.
• Conducting joint calls.
