This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +1 more state.
• Formulate a business strategy to increase wallet share from the National Distributor.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders at both corporate and field levels within the National Distributor to enhance our relationship.
• Work with the customer’s product management team to develop product strategy.
• Initiate sales efforts in the field through MCR 360 assessments and Joint Sales calls.
• Keep daily records of opportunities, calls, and lead information in MCR Safety’s CRM Tool.
• Actively refine sales strategies by analyzing internal reports and customer data to identify trends and areas of growth or decline.
• Execute marketing strategies to elevate the MCR Safety brand within the customer’s marketing framework.
• Evaluate customer field activities alongside our Regional Sales Managers and Business Development Managers by reviewing and confirming the sales pipeline.
• Achieve assigned quotas, sales targets, and behavioral goals.
• Organize, plan, and oversee customer-specific training sessions.
• Facilitate communication with other departments to ensure proper management of customer accounts, including EDI, Warehouse, Traffic, Invoicing, Purchasing, Marketing, and Accounts Receivable.
• Aim to become the product authority in your category by participating in training, gaining insights from customers, reading industry publications, and analyzing competitors.
• High School diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 - 5 years of Business-to-Business sales experience, ideally in the PPE sector, and familiarity with the manufacturing to distribution model.
• Strong work ethic and dedication to enhancing business profitability.
• Prior experience in Sales Management or General Management.
• Previous experience in Redistribution is advantageous.
• Proven capability to create and implement a sales plan.
• Proficient written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to cultivate trust and support among key customers; work effectively within a team environment.
• Knowledge of financial modeling and cost accounting principles.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Proven effective decision-making skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time.
