This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Join Cigna as a National Account Executive, where you will cultivate strategic relationships with large and complex accounts while fostering growth within existing clients.
• Act as a trusted consultative partner, utilizing data-driven insights to refine account strategy and provide solutions that align with client goals and Cigna’s long-term revenue targets.
• Oversee a structured account engagement process with well-defined goals, strategies, and execution tactics.
• Develop strong customer relationships to gain insights into client objectives, priorities, and potential growth opportunities.
• Function as a reliable strategic partner by offering consultative guidance and solution-focused thinking during client interactions.
• Effectively communicate Cigna’s value proposition and narrative with assurance, consistency, and minimal dependency on subject matter experts.
• Leverage data-driven insights to propose solutions that enhance client outcomes and contribute to Cigna's business success.
• Manage comprehensive sales efforts when a client’s business is put out to bid.
• Take ownership of metric-driven results with a sense of urgency, accountability, and a commitment to meeting or surpassing expectations.
• Exemplify internal and external leadership while working collaboratively with national account and matrix partners.
• Advocate for continuous improvement and market responsiveness to ensure Cigna provides leading products and services.
• At least 5 years of experience in healthcare or managed care, encompassing product knowledge, underwriting, risk assessment, financial analysis, marketing, sales, account management, or administrative operations.
• Proven ability to forge strong customer relationships and collaborate effectively with matrix partners.
• Exceptional communication, persuasion, and presentation skills.
• Strong planning and organizational abilities with the capability to manage both long-term and short-term priorities.
• Customer-focused mindset with a robust commitment to fulfilling client expectations.
• Demonstrated success or evident potential as a leader, negotiator, administrator, and salesperson.
• Ability to obtain necessary licenses.
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred but not mandatory).
