This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• The National Account Director (NAD) for Strategic IDNs & Integrated Health Systems acts as the main customer-facing representative responsible for institutional engagement, account management, and contract execution across the largest national Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs) and academic medical centers in the country.
• The individual in this role is tasked with leading contractual negotiations, enhancing market access, and fostering operational engagement to gain insights into procurement, ensure access, and align medical policy coverage with minimal limitations.
• By evaluating and diagnosing intricate institutional environments, the NAD eliminates systemic obstacles to patient onboarding, conversion, and adherence while maintaining stringent financial management and portfolio optimization throughout the health system ecosystem.
• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
• A Master’s degree or another advanced clinical or business qualification (such as an MBA, PharmD, MHA, or MS) is advantageous.
• Over 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology account management, market access, or institutional network management is required.
• Proven experience in launching new products or complex biologics within a specialized or rapid-response therapeutic category.
• Documented, active relationships with pharmacy directors, medical directors, and key decision-makers within major national health systems, IDNs, or payer accounts.
• Extensive operational knowledge of buy-and-bill biologics and the dynamics of pathway-to-acquisition (including ASP, WAC, and 340B pricing models).
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously and effectively lead cross-functional teams.
• Proven track record of thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and quickly adapting to changing market conditions or organizational priorities.
• Strong digital productivity skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% to facilitate key account meetings, field execution, and cross-functional corporate planning.
