Music Teacher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Provide support to students through instruction and collaboration.

• Assess and provide feedback on student learning logs to facilitate their progress.

• Engage with students in various formats, including one-on-one, small groups, or large groups.

• Mentor and tutor learners enrolled in designated courses.

• Develop interactive lessons, activities, or learning experiences.

• Customize resources and support to address individual student requirements.

• Identify students at risk and coordinate appropriate interventions.

• Communicate with parents to offer guidance and assistance.

• Attend IEP meetings as necessary and work collaboratively with relevant stakeholders.

• Partner with fellow educators to share knowledge and support students throughout the program.

• Contribute to the program by aiding a designated group of students while also assuming additional responsibilities based on team and student demands.

• Engage in a positive, collaborative, and team-oriented environment centered on student achievement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid teaching certification in Texas, including a Music endorsement.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.

• A strong belief that each child is unique and thrives through personalized learning.

• Kind, organized, patient, and a reliable communicator.

• Proficient with Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Forms, etc.).

• Confident in the ability to learn and adapt to various online tools, systems, and programs.

• Capable of working independently and meeting deadlines with minimal oversight.

• Access to a smartphone, high-speed internet, a computer, and a webcam.

• Authorized to work in the U.S. (with the flexibility to live/work from any pre-approved location).
