Murex MX.3 Production Support Analyst – Front Office, Equity Derivatives

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver front-line production assistance for Murex MX.3 encompassing pricing, risk, trade capture, workflows, market data, and interfaces.

• Take ownership of incident triage, impact evaluation, root cause investigation, and subsequent remediation efforts.

• Oversee logs, dashboards, schedulers, RTS feeds, and batch processes to proactively identify and resolve issues.

• Diagnose pricing discrepancies, risk/sensitivity gaps, trade enrichment failures, and delays in interfaces.

• Manage and monitor vendor cases, including evidence collection, reproduction steps, and validation of solutions.

• Assist with production releases, urgent changes, and maintenance activities by conducting pre- and post-deployment verifications.

• Update SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge articles to enhance operational efficiency and minimize recurring incidents.

• Participate in monitoring, automation, and continuous improvement projects to bolster platform stability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience in supporting Murex MX.3 within a production setting.

• Familiarity with Murex modules such as eTradepad, Pricing, Simulation, Livebook, and Workflow.

• Proficiency with market data components including MDCS, RTBS, MDRS, and MDIT.

• Strong skills in Murex log analysis, performance troubleshooting, and Unix/Linux support.

• Experience in scripting with Python and/or Unix shell.

• Comprehensive understanding of Murex orchestration, services, process flows, and end-of-day job troubleshooting.

• SQL knowledge with Sybase, SQL Server, or Oracle.

• Understanding of Equity Derivatives products and related Greeks.

• Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Overall, a minimum of 10 years of IT experience.

• At least 5 years of experience in Front Office Trading Technology support.

• Preferred 3 years of experience in Murex MX.3 support.

• Capability to perform effectively in a high-pressure production support environment.
