This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Instruct, mentor, and guide associates to guarantee the successful implementation of key Asset Protection strategies.
• Propel the execution of the Merchandise Protection Standards (MPS), Pick Ticket, and Lockup initiatives.
• Assess Front End Accuracy standards encompassing Accuracy/Theft and Fraud initiatives along with G.E.T initiatives.
• Promote a safety culture in stores by endorsing safety initiatives.
• Educate, mentor, and coach store leadership and associates on theft/fraud, operational shrink, and shrink reduction strategies.
• Develop relationships and collaborate with Government Relations and Law Enforcement for localized assistance.
• Ensure prompt entry of internal cases into the case management system as per AP Policy.
• Analyze available resources to pinpoint major theft trends by class and SKU for both internal and external theft, and devise solutions.
• Conduct prompt interviews for internal theft cases flagged by MAPM or the Central Investigations Team (CIT).
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly evaluations of business practices, exception-based reporting, theft portals, and the AP Performance Hub.
• Review and assess shrink performance across the district and individual store locations.
• Make hiring choices and enforce disciplinary actions, including terminations.
• Carry out performance reviews and leverage performance management to tackle performance issues.
• Instruct and train associates on appropriate safety practices and environmental/regulatory protocols.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with presentation software (e.g., Microsoft PowerPoint).
• Proven capability to collaborate and work efficiently with cross-functional teams.
• Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to address complaints, resolve disputes, and handle grievances with both internal and external clients.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Required licensure/certification varies by location.
• Over 3 years of multi-unit retail Asset Protection experience.
• Experience in leading a team with an emphasis on external/internal theft.
• Conduct internal investigations, including interviews.
• Knowledge of Organized Retail Crime elements and partnerships with law enforcement.
• Experience in utilizing and managing physical security and investigative systems (CCTV, Alarm, Exception-Based Reporting).
• LPC/LPQ Certification.
• Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including support for multiple store locations.
