This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Leverage advanced telemedicine technology to remotely oversee MRI scans, ensuring both image quality and accuracy.

• Maintain continuous visual engagement with patients during their MRI scans.

• Communicate effectively with onsite staff through chat or phone.

• Review patient screenings conducted onsite to identify any safety concerns or contraindications.

• Choose the appropriate MRI scan protocols for each patient.

• Remotely operate MRI equipment in collaboration with onsite technologists or healthcare providers.

• Troubleshoot any equipment-related issues as they arise.

• Ensure adherence to MRI safety standards and patient safety protocols.

• Document patient details, procedures performed, and resultant findings accurately.

• Keep comprehensive records of imaging sessions.

• Monitor the quality of imaging to ensure clarity and diagnostic precision.

• Stay updated on advancements in MRI technology, telemedicine practices, and healthcare regulations in Massachusetts.

• Engage in training sessions as required.

• Manage patient information and electronic records while ensuring HIPAA compliance.


⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of an active ARRT license.

• Minimum of 3 years of independent MRI Technologist scanning experience.

• Completion of an accredited MRI certification program or a related discipline.

• Strong knowledge of MRI protocols, physics, and imaging software.

• Familiarity with remote telemedicine platforms and virtual healthcare technologies.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Outstanding attention to detail.

• Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and associated technologies.

• Capability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and adapt to evolving technologies and protocols.
