This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair various MRI RF coils, including head, spine, body, extremity, and phased-array coils.
• Conduct comprehensive electrical, mechanical, and RF diagnostics to pinpoint component-level failures.
• Repair and refurbish coils to achieve or surpass OEM performance standards.
• Execute functional testing and quality assurance utilizing coil testing equipment and signal verification tools.
• Maintain precise service documentation and repair records.
• Assist in preventive maintenance efforts and contribute to coil inventory management.
• Work collaboratively with MRI technologists, biomedical personnel, and engineering teams to minimize equipment downtime.
• Recognize recurring failure patterns and offer suggestions for process or repair enhancements.
• A minimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience in repairing MRI coils, particularly on GE and Siemens platforms is preferred.
• BMET certification or a comparable background in biomedical/electronics technology.
• Proficiency in working with phased-array and multi-channel coil systems.
• Knowledge of MRI system integration, RF shielding, and safety protocols.

• Solid understanding of RF electronics, signal integrity, and coil circuitry.
• Capability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Experience with oscilloscopes, multimeters, network analyzers, and coil testing equipment.
• Familiarity with QA procedures and performance validation processes.
