MRA Coding Auditor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assists in conducting regular quality assurance (QA) audits for the internal Coding Analyst Team to validate and confirm the quality of coding and abstracting.

• Monitors and reports on the progress of QA audits carried out on coding vendors to ensure coding accuracy.

• Collaborates with Risk Adjustment Management regarding any MRA data validation or coding audits.

• Evaluates and communicates audit findings to the Manager.

• Ensures adherence to all relevant federal, state, and local regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of three years of experience in Medicare Risk Adjustment coding within a medical group or health plan environment is required.

• High School Diploma or GED is necessary, along with completion of a Medical Coding training program.

• Certification as a Coder is mandatory, such as CCS, CCS-P, CPC, or CRC.

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

• Prior experience with Epic, Allscripts, or EZCap is preferred.
