Motion Designer – Contract-to-Perm

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop high-quality motion and animation assets for various initiatives, including campaigns, educational explainers, product demonstrations, livestreams, and social media content.

• Create animated logos, transitions, and brand motions that strengthen Monad’s visual identity.

• Design and animate collateral for events, such as graphics for conferences, hackathons, and community activities.

• Transform static design systems into refined, expressive animations, paying close attention to timing, rhythm, and composition.

• Work collaboratively with the Design and Content Teams to ensure all motion graphics align with Monad’s brand and creative vision.

• Participate in early concept development and storyboarding to influence how ideas are animated.

• Establish and maintain motion libraries and reusable assets for consistency and scalability.

• Keep up-to-date with trends and techniques in animation, design, and technology to introduce innovative ideas to the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in motion design for branding, products, or marketing, accompanied by a robust portfolio showcasing storytelling, timing, and design expertise.

• Strong proficiency in After Effects, Lottie, and handoff specifications, with a keen interest or experience in Figma, Rive, and AI tools.

• Solid understanding of typography, layout, color, and animation principles.

• Comfortable working alongside designers, art directors, and cross-functional teams.

• Experience in building or maintaining motion libraries and reusable assets.

• Organized, adaptable, and eager to explore new tools and workflows.

• Considerate of accessibility and the ways in which motion can enhance clarity and user experience.

• Capable of managing multiple projects within a fast-paced environment.
