• Conceptualize, script, and edit engaging short-form video content that narrates a story, effectively capturing the audience's attention with compelling hooks and cliffhangers. You should be adept at creating content across diverse genres, including punchy humor, edgy romance, and fast-paced action.
• Collaborate with fellow copywriters, designers, and art directors to produce dynamic, character-driven content that aligns seamlessly with each platform.
• Develop promotional series, trailers, and explainer videos that foster a connection between fans and the WEBTOON universe.
• Create expressive animations derived from comic panels that enhance our characters, fictional worlds, and themes in unexpected and delightful ways for fans.
• Transition smoothly between producing high-quality motion design and quick-turn, less polished videos for social media.
• Infuse your unique storytelling perspective into projects to craft engaging, thoughtful, and entertaining advertisements that resonate authentically with the audience.
• Remain attuned to fan culture, animation trends, memes, and narrative styles that appeal to Gen Z and Millennial viewers.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a creative agency, production company, or in-house entertainment team, preferably with a focus on ad content, trailers, branded content, or entertainment marketing.
• You are a storyteller first, designer second: your primary focus is on pacing, emotion, and structure while creating content.
• Strong background in copywriting and scripting, with a willingness to explore new writing styles and formats.
• A clear and dependable communicator who can easily adapt to a fast-paced production schedule and work collaboratively with operations leads to deliver projects punctually, within brand guidelines, and budget constraints.
• Proficiency in Premiere Pro and After Effects, along with a general understanding of the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition) and additional animation or VFX tools. Experience in 3D animation is advantageous.
• Comfortable with character rigging and possess a solid understanding of animation principles.
• A creative individual with a robust online presence or portfolio. Bonus points if you have created content or fan edits in the webcomic, animation, or fandom arena.
• Equally confident working collaboratively or managing your own projects from start to finish.
• Passionate about comics, animation, gaming, or storytelling in all its forms.
• Infuse humor, heart, and a creative perspective into everything you produce.
• A positive, adaptable team player who creates out of passion rather than ego, valuing the process as much as the end product.
• Willingness to learn new skills and elevate your capabilities as a designer or writer to promote fresh ideas and enhance the quality of work.
