Motion Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with GenAI Art Directors, Creators, and Project Managers to transform projects from initial concept to final delivery.

• Generate and modify premium content utilizing both AI and traditional tools.

• Create visual assets that adhere to the client's creative standards and effectively scale production across various brands and channels.

• Enhance the team's creative output; confidence in ideation and the capability to produce custom high-end animations and video edits are crucial.

• Manage projects from briefing to completion, infusing fresh ideas and creativity while strictly following the client's brand guidelines.

• Required strong skills in mastering, editing, remastering, and adjusting master assets for diverse crops and formats.

• Possess the ability to take ownership of your creative projects, crafting assets that fulfill briefs and design standards while inspiring clients with your creative contributions.

• Confidently present innovative approaches and concepts.

• Supervise and manage the preparation of all final files to ensure compliance with the correct output specifications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience as a motion designer within an advertising agency, in-house creative department, or similar design studio.

• A demonstrated portfolio showcasing motion design work, encompassing both traditional and AI-assisted projects, whether personal or client-related.

• A strong willingness to modify existing workflows to incorporate GenAI methodologies.

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator).

• Familiarity with GenAI tools such as ChatGPT, Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, Veo3, etc. (Training on our specific platform, Pencil, will be provided).

• Comfortable with essential GenAI techniques, including model selection, creative prompting, and collaborative AI-driven ideation.

• A keen eye for detail, capable of analyzing GenAI-generated outputs, swiftly identifying subtle errors or inconsistencies, and rectifying them through prompt refinement or additional editing tools for polished results.

• Strong judgment in assessing briefs and strategically determining how and where GenAI can be integrated into the creative workflow for optimal efficiency and impact.

• Any hands-on experience in delivering real-world creative work using GenAI is desirable.

• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and a collaborative mindset.

• An optimistic view of the evolving role of GenAI in creativity, accompanied by adaptability and a solution-oriented approach.

• Understanding of legal and ethical considerations when using AI-generated assets.
