Mortgage Sales Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Oversees the loan production for a designated team comprising four to six Mortgage Loan Officers.

• Facilitates sales and business development initiatives for the sub-market under the guidance of the Regional Mortgage Sales Manager.

• Recruits Mortgage Loan Officers within their territory.

• Collaborates with the Regional Mortgage Sales Manager to drive revenue growth, ensure expense compliance, and enhance efficiencies for the sub-market.

• Manages 8-12 MLOs, taking charge of Performance Reviews, PIPs, training, time card management, and expense approvals.

• Cultivates and sustains relationships with Retail Management in local markets, supporting the referral model and other banking partnerships.

• A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience is required.

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in mortgage origination.

• At least 3 years' management experience is essential.

• Must possess extensive knowledge of the mortgage industry and its guidelines.

• Exceptional sales abilities are required.

• Strong oral and written communication skills are necessary.

• Excellent motivational skills are needed.

• A competitive nature to remain driven to surpass goals is essential; ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment is required.
