Mortgage Processor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Monitor Lead Notes received from the Loan Officer (LO)

• Oversee incoming “App Submitted” emails and configure Encompass files to correspond with LO Lead Notes

• Conduct a “File Set-up” review once the Application and Documents are received from the client, which includes ordering credit, organizing documents in Encompass, and rectifying any obvious errors on the client application, among other tasks

• Possess the ability to calculate income for Wage Earners and Self-Employed borrowers

• Execute DU/LP runs and order appraisals as necessary (in cases where PIW/ACE is not available)

• Provide clients with a needs list following the initial file review

• Send a client needs list after the Preapproval team has completed their assessment

• Acquire accurate Evidence of Insurance (EOI), Verification of Employment (VOE), and Homeowners Association (HOA) documents upon request from the Loan Officer Assistant (LOA) or Processor

• Verify that the EOI and other documents are correct at the time of funding to prevent any delays

• Keep a detailed tracker of all files on their desk, noting any outstanding items on each file to ensure that none are overlooked.

• **Experience in the mortgage industry is mandatory**

• **Experience with Encompass is advantageous**

• **Experience with order outs and communicating with third parties is essential**

• Familiarity with office applications is expected

• Strong communication skills are required

• A positive personality is essential

• Experience in finance and accounting is a plus
