Mortgage Process Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Become a product expert for Vesta, gaining a comprehensive understanding of how to test all functionalities within the platform, while meticulously documenting test cases with great attention to detail.

• Collaborate with our partner integrations team to assist in configuring our integrations and mapping data across various platforms.

• Work alongside our customer implementation team to develop comprehensive documentation regarding all aspects of loan fulfillment workflows and the specific nuances of our product.

• Maintain close communication with our engineering, product, and partner teams, providing updates on testing and integration progress.

• Be an essential contributor to the delivery of transformative software solutions for our customers!

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the mortgage industry, specifically dealing with mortgage systems, either from an operational/process perspective or a technical/IT standpoint. Familiarity with Loan Origination Systems is highly advantageous, and experience in pricing and/or secondary marketing — including PPE configuration, lock desk operations, investor delivery, loan sale workflows, or hedging — is a significant plus.

• You possess strong technical skills or a keen interest in developing them further. You are comfortable collaborating closely with engineers and product managers, interpreting API documentation, analyzing data schemas, and dissecting JSON/XML payloads to grasp the underlying mechanics. Hands-on experience with tools like Postman, basic SQL, or scripting for data validation is a major advantage. Technical proficiency is fundamental to this role.
