Mortgage Loan Processor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Evaluate loan applications and accompanying documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with regulations.

• Gather, verify, and monitor essential documents, such as income, assets, credit reports, title, insurance, and appraisal details.

• Prepare files for the underwriting process, address any conditions, and ensure that all disclosures and forms are filled out correctly.

• Collaborate with borrowers, loan originators, real estate agents, title companies, and other stakeholders to facilitate the loan closing process.

• Ensure precise data entry and notes are maintained in the loan origination system (LOS), complying with TRID requirements.

• Oversee and manage a loan pipeline, ensuring that all milestones and deadlines are achieved.

• Assist in the preparation, scheduling, and coordination of closings for first mortgages and home equity transactions.

• Contribute to process enhancements and provide support to new team members as required.

• Adhere to all regulatory, compliance, and NMLS licensing standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least three years of experience in mortgage processing or a related lending field.

• Comprehensive understanding of mortgage documentation, underwriting standards, and loan file procedures.

• Capability to analyze financial documents and conduct income calculations effectively.

• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple files and meet deadlines.

• Clear and professional communication abilities along with a strong commitment to member service.

• Keen attention to detail and accuracy in the review and entry of data.

• Ability to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.

• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
