This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho, +2 more states.
β’ Evaluate loan applications and accompanying documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with regulations.
β’ Gather, verify, and monitor essential documents, such as income, assets, credit reports, title, insurance, and appraisal details.
β’ Prepare files for the underwriting process, address any conditions, and ensure that all disclosures and forms are filled out correctly.
β’ Collaborate with borrowers, loan originators, real estate agents, title companies, and other stakeholders to facilitate the loan closing process.
β’ Ensure precise data entry and notes are maintained in the loan origination system (LOS), complying with TRID requirements.
β’ Oversee and manage a loan pipeline, ensuring that all milestones and deadlines are achieved.
β’ Assist in the preparation, scheduling, and coordination of closings for first mortgages and home equity transactions.
β’ Contribute to process enhancements and provide support to new team members as required.
β’ Adhere to all regulatory, compliance, and NMLS licensing standards.
β’ At least three years of experience in mortgage processing or a related lending field.
β’ Comprehensive understanding of mortgage documentation, underwriting standards, and loan file procedures.
β’ Capability to analyze financial documents and conduct income calculations effectively.
β’ Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple files and meet deadlines.
β’ Clear and professional communication abilities along with a strong commitment to member service.
β’ Keen attention to detail and accuracy in the review and entry of data.
β’ Ability to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
β’ High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
