Mortgage Loan Originator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Handle incoming customer calls to discuss different loan products, prequalification criteria, and subsequent steps.

• Clearly convey the progression of loans to clients and gather necessary documentation.

• Conduct outbound sales calls to both potential and current customers to create new business opportunities and enhance customer retention.

• Oversee and actively manage a lead and loan pipeline to achieve conversion targets and cycle time objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in mortgage sales with a demonstrated history of performance and client trust.

• NMLS-licensed mortgage loan originator with practical experience in originating a diverse range of loan products.

• Comprehensive understanding of FHA, VA, and Conventional mortgage products and their specific advantages for clients.

• Strong familiarity with consumer lending regulations, including fair lending, privacy, RESPA, and TILA — with a commitment to ethical practices.

• Outstanding phone sales abilities with a knack for connecting, empathizing, and confidently guiding clients through the loan process.

• Capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment while consistently meeting deadlines and service expectations.

• An innate relationship-builder who collaborates effectively across teams and earns trust from both internal partners and external clients.

• Proven coachability, adaptability, and a growth-oriented mindset — always aiming to improve outcomes.
